The handsome couple we areYeps, on the 24th Erin, Mike and I went to the Weeping Wall! We did the Snivelling Gully which is only a WI3 but the ice was super brittle and therefor the climbing had to be...well, it had to have some patient while you worked your way up! Mike had his camera with him so all the pics are to his credit, thanx Mike! You truly are an angel!!!
Erin rocking-out in the great canadian rockiesThen we got back to Banff to cook dinner. Us Icelanders celebrate X-mas on the eve of the 24th so it was important to me to have a good dinner and all that good stuff! Well, the oven was extremely greasy from other people using it so it stated smoking up our apartment and we had to turn the oven off! It pissed me off. We waited for the oven to cool off to clean it a bit but to no joy as it smoked everything up again! I threw in the towel and we ordered pizza...on X-mas eve!!!
the dynamic duoErin didn't give up and cleaned the oven again, third time nota bene, and got it working again...properly! The meat turned out excellent so we had pizza for appetizers and then the proper dinner after and believe you me that people were EXTREMELY full!
Just came home from a dinner at Ben´s house. Marty and Gale were there (Ben´s parents), Lisa (Ben´s girlfriend), and Ann! It was nice and relaxing and provided another night of being EXTREMELY full!!!
Tomorrow morning I am heading back to the lodge to work for ca. 10 days and Erin is going back to work as well in the morning! See ya´ll after New Years
