Time flies when you´re having fun

...or was it times fun when you´re having flies?

Anyhoo, this winter is going by fast and I am thinking that I might not get a permitt to work untill the season is over...got to love the speed that some offices work at eh! Not that there is shortage of guides in this country!!! Not, there is not enough...I could work nonstop all year-long if I wanted, there is so much work!

Well, I did change my surrounding a bit for the last week, went climbing three times which is a big change from skiing all the time! It was such a big change that I got some serious backproblems and I actually went to a physiotherapist yeasterday...and I never do that!!! So needless to say, it was Erin who ordered that and I am feeling better now. Getting old...sore back, sore knees....yep, old!

I have been working on my application for the rock climbing guide this summer and it should be ready for submission on monday. Hopefully I am good enough to get in as I really need to move forward in the guiding process...

Hope all is well with you that read this rambling blog

Finally...

...we are swinging some ice tools at ze ice! Nothing much, but when we do get our lazy bumms out of the house then things get done!!!

Me, Erin and our friend Sarah went to Evan Thomas today and only managed to do one climb as we were lazy getting up early this morning...but we had loads of fun so the mission was accomplished. Here are some older pics from the area...

Between 250.000-300.000 vertical meters so far...

Thats right, a lot of skiing so far this winter and its not over yet!

Just got back from 18 days of the deep pow...this time a different ballgame all togeather as it dumped snow so much that avalanche conditions spiked for a bit with up to 800m wide slides running up to 1000m long taking out trees and crossing roads. And yes, I go about my buisness carefully so I can come back to my sweet Erin! Ohhhh.

Even if there is lots of threats then there is always ways to find good safe skiing. And here are a two pics to proof that. I took pics of some of other skiers and here blow is one of them. The other above is of me of course! he he
