I came back to Banff on Monday with the Greyhound bus from Revelstoke! Nothing so exciting about that, didn´t get stabbed or anything! But the normal time of 3.5hrs stretched into an epic 9hr bus-ride. Yes, 9 hours!
First of all there was a delay at Rogers Pass due to avalanche control. After they had blasted the hills with the 105mm Howitzers we went on to Golden to be told that the bus had broken down! The driver asked us if we wanted to go on in the same bus even if it was so uncomfortable...I talked to three persons that didn´t have a clue either of what the guy was talking about? Uncomfortable what? Didn´t even feel a thing.
Well, they decided to make us wait for a new bus to arrive...from Calgary! Great.
Erin tried calling Greyhound to find out what was going on but the person at the Greyhound telephone centre hung up on her!!! He was in Bombay anyways (I am not kidding)! Its like calling Canadian Immigration Centre and you supposed to be helped by a person that is in another country and you can´t understand what they are saying as their English is bad! Good times
I must be tired from work, I had a nap today and passed out from fatigue! As I was getting back I had to think rationally to see that I wasn't at work still and that I fell asleep there and din´t have a clue where my group was...I know, messed up!!!
Other, if you look at http://www.360-expeditions.com/about.htm you will find my face there. Starting to work with 360° and things are looking good.
Monashee Powder (where I work mostly for those that are clueless) got the Powder Awards; BEST POWDERThe Winner(s):Mark Abma, T.J. Schiller and C.R. Johnson Claim Matchstick ProductionsThe reason we ski. The reason we sacrifice nearly everything—jobs, relationships, responsibility, sanity, etc. Powder skiing. All four of these nominees ski some of the lightest, deepest, most blower powder of their lives. But the trio of Mark Abma, T.J. Schiller and C.R. Johnson skied the most crystallized version of snow in MSP’s Claim while skiing at Monashee Powder Cats in the interior of British Columbia. Oh YEAH, EAT YOUR HEART OUT! That's where I work....did I say that already?????? Look at it at http://www.powderwards.com/ OH YEAY
What else? Maybe good for now
